Registering to Race
Racer applications, accompanied by a $25 filing fee, will be accepted starting April 1st through June 26th . We are accepting only sixty racers, so get it in early. Applications can be found on the Race website, as well as at the Bernardston Town Hall. Once you are accepted into the Race there are no refunds.
Race date is Sunday, June 28th, 2020. Racers must start arriving at the check in station for inspection at 8:30 AM at the corner of West Mountain Road and South Street, just off Routes 5 & 10, and near Kringle Candle. Drivers must arrive by 11:00 or they will be turned away. Racers and vehicles must be ready to race when they arrive. All carts must be checked in by 11:30 AM.
Every vehicle / racer must go through an inspection at check-in before running the course. The Race will not be delayed for missing or late-to-the-starting-gate Racers. No construction or repairs will be allowed other than minor adjustments as deemed by the Race Inspectors. Vehicles damaged in transit will have a limited time to get repaired. Late arriving cars will be turned away. Vehicle inspections are subject to the discretion of our Race Inspectors, and all decisions are final.
Racers will be split into three divisions by age:
- “Kid Racers” are 8-12 years old;
- “Teen Racers” are 13-19 years old; and
- “Adult Racers” are 20 years and older.
Yes, adults are encouraged to enter. We are sorry, but for safety concerns you cannot race if you are under 8 years old on Race Day.
